when others communication fails

HERE WE COME!!

Railway track from Tenom to Beaufort.

There is no train service available from pangie sub station to halogilat sub station. The only transport available there is homemade trolley which is dangerous but exciting experiance to use it. And there is no available communication services here. Dont bring handphone here because its useless..

Primarily, Im using my own kenwood TM 271A (moblie rig) and 2 yaesu vx-170 (handy) as a back up.  This rig is seriously very rough and suitable for extreme condition like this.At the moment, we still using Sabah Railway Station Department Repeater with a permission as a standby communication while the simplex frequency is under testing for its capability and strength.

Luckly, we have the Hitrachi Excavator to lift the antenna as higher as we can. It almost reaching 50 feet from the ground now. Thanks to the camp worker for their handy help.

We are using the Gazden 8 radial antenna and connected with RG58 coxial cable here at km123 Pangie and 5 element homebrew yagi at halogilat.

Finally, they can communicate...
